It may not come in a winning effort, but Cleveland Indians top prospect Oscar Mercado can officially be anointed a big leaguer after Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The 24-year-old outfielder went bridge for the first time in his young career.

No doubt about that one. Can the fan please get that ball to this young man?!
Before Sunday's series finale against Tampa, Mercado was slashing .261/.346/.391 with three extra-base hits and three RBI. Now that he's got his first home run out of the way, expect the kid to start getting more comfortable at the dish.
