VIDEO: Indians' Tyler Naquin Exits Game After Painful Collision With Wall After Spectacular Catch
By Karl Rasmussen

While the catch was sensational, the aftermath was not. Indians' left fielder Tyler Naquin made a jaw-dropping defensive play to rob Rays' Joey Wendle of extra-bases on Friday night. Naquin tracked the ball down in the corner and secured the grab just before making a painful collision with the wall. He paid the price for the heroic catch, as he went down in pain afterwards, and was pulled from the game.
The good news: @TyNaquin held on to make the catch.

The bad news: He's down and doesn't seem likely to stay in the game. pic.twitter.com/U7e6WCzlMY
The fact that Naquin held onto this ball despite the incredibly harsh impact with the wall is ridiculously impressive. The 28-year-old is headed for X-rays, and fans are hoping that he won't be sidelined too long.
Hats off to Naquin for putting his body on the line in a tie game against a fellow Wild Card contender.
