VIDEO: J.D. Martinez Clobbers His 16th Homer of the Season to Extend Boston's Lead Over the Orioles

J.D. Martinez is one of the purest hitters in all of baseball, and while the power hasn't necessarily been there for him early on this year, he's still one of the most feared sluggers at the plate. He showcased just why against the O's on Saturday, as he launched a 427-foot bomb to give Boston a 4-2 lead.

It was the third round-tripper for Martinez in as many games. It was his 16th homer of the 2019 campaign, and he now has 39 RBI on the year.

The ball left the bat at just under 110 mph, so you know the Red Sox star absolutely smoked that pitch from Richard Bleier.
