Jack Flaherty is on some sort of run for the St. Louis Cardinals right now. Entering the final game of the season, he was sporting a 0.97 ERA in the second half, and with his team looking to clinch the NL Central, he was absolutely dealing. In fact, he has been so filthy, Addison Russell lost his bat on the follow-through.

Talk about making a batter look like a fool. It's not every day that a major league hitter sends his bat flying to the backstop on the backswing.
If Flaherty is anywhere close to this filthy in the postseason, the Cardinals will be in great shape.
