Even the most elite defenders have their moments. During the matchup between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night, Carlos Santana hit a deep fly ball Jackie Bradley Jr.'s way, and he had a little bit of trouble fielding it.

To be fair, the ball did take a mean hop off the center field wall, and looked to catch Bradley Jr. off guard. However, he did look foolish as a result, losing his footing and slipping on the dirt in center field. Normally this kind of thing doesn't happen to the gold glover.

Bradley Jr. has been considered one of the better defensive center fielders in baseball for a while now, but this season hasn't gone according to plan, as he hasn't looked great defensively or at the plate, with a total -0.6 WAR.

The center fielder is currently hitting just .171, with 3 homers and 13 runs batted in, and isn't as locked in at center field as he has been in the past, posting a -2 DRS through 44 games. He's looking for something that will turn around his season, but this play will certainly not be it.
