VIDEO: Jackson State Mascot Runs Onto the Field During End Zone Scrum Like a Maniac and Gets Flagged

You don't see this everyday. Actually, I don't think we've ever seen this before across any football game. Jackson State extended their lead on a beautiful touchdown grab in the end zone, leading to a bit of a scrum with the opposing defensive backs. Well, amid all the chaos, Jackson State's mascot came galavanting across the end zone in celebration of the touchdown and join in the pile.

To make this even more bizarre was the fact the mascot was flagged for a 15-yard penalty. Ouch.
Whoever is in that mascot suite better hope Jackson State wins the game. Whether that penalty has anything to do with the outcome, don't be shocked if the coach takes it out on that Tiger.

Of course, the mascots celebration post-scrum tells you it doesn't care and would do it again if the opportunity presented itself.
This is what makes college football so great, especially the less coveted matchups between some smaller schools. You truly never know what you will see.
