By Michael Luciano

Andrew Luck who? Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett proved that he has made the leap into near-star territory, as he willed Indy to a win at home against the Denver Broncos. Brissett managed to escape a ferocious Denver pass rush and somehow connect with TY Hilton on what would eventually be a game-winning touchdown drive.

And who delivered, in the end? Why, it was Adam Vinatieri, whose demise we may have been too quick to declare.
Vinatieri proved that there is still no one else you would rather have kicking a field goal when the chips are down, as he gave the Colts a 15-13 win when he nailed a 51-yarder to ice it.

The Colts, for all their struggles in the offseason, have proven themselves to be the class of the AFC South this season.
Vinatieri missed an extra point in this one, but of COURSE he drilled the monster shot when it mattered most. That's a Hall of Famer to the core.
