VIDEO: JaCoby Jones Rises High Above the Wall to Rob Victor Robles of a Home Run
By Parker White

Washington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles appeared to have given his team an early 1-0 lead, but then Detroit Tigers center fielder Jacoby Jones came out of nowhere, jumped the wall and reeled in the would-be homer. He leapt high and reached pretty far over the wall to secure the grab.

Did we just witness the catch of the year?
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but that robbery is as good as it gets. I mean, Jones literally reached over the fence and brought it back.

That's the kind of play that'll give Jacoby Jones more consistent playing time, even though he's hitting just .250 on the season. The Tigers are at a point where they need to find out what they have, and this brilliant catch proves that Jones can play a wicked center field and make the highlight reel play that saves runs.
