Another week, another horrifying head injury in the NFL. The victim in this latest instance is Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Geoff Swaim, who was sent to the turf in an unconscious heap, after taking the brunt of a questionable hit from New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis.

Swaim was immediately taken to the locker room and was diagnosed with a concussion. It remains unclear if there was any ill will from Davis, but it still resulted in Swaim being knocked out cold.
The Jaguars and Saints are locked in a defensive battle, with Teddy Bridgewater often unable to solve Jacksonville's swarm. However, a defensive battle doesn't have to include dangerous behavior.

No need for this in the modern game.
