VIDEO: Jaguars Mascot Trolls Sam Darnold Over 'Seeing Ghosts' Comment Before Game
By Adam Weinrib

It seems as if the trolls in Jacksonville aren't just confined to the sky on Sunday. Less than a week after Sam Darnold's "seeing ghosts" comment about the Patriots' swarming defense on Monday night went mega-viral, it's still the talk of the town during the Jets' next matchup against the Jaguars. Now living in the exact type of firestorm the NYJ foresaw when they first expressed frustration with Darnold's comments being broadcast, we have to accept we're going to see plenty of ghosts at Jets games for the rest of the season. Enter Jags mascot Jaxson de Ville, playing the role of Casper here.

And yes, he really did swarm.
In fact, he was everywhere during the pregame.

On one hand, we certainly feel bad for Darnold, who was expressing a very normal level of frustration for a battered QB.
On the other hand, we now have a new joyous NFL tradition and method for trolling the ever-trollable Jets. Kind of a frightening Halloween win-win here.
