VIDEO: Jake Matthews Throws Absolutely Vicious Block on Julio Jones' Game-Winning Touchdown
By Scott Rogust

The Atlanta Falcons saw Carson Wentz's fourth quarter magic on Sunday, and raised it with Julio Jones' 54-yard catch-and-run to give them a 24-20 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles. While everyone will focus on Jones' unreal acceleration, you can't forget about Falcons offensive tackle Jake Matthews' role on the touchdown. With Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox poised to tackle Jones, Matthews ended that goal by completely eviscerating him with a nasty block.

Matthews completely engulfed Maddox, and it played a key role in the Falcons late lead.
