VIDEO: Jays' Randal Grichuk Rips Go-Ahead Grand Slam in 9th Inning Against Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays are not in contention for a playoff spot, as they both sit at the bottom of the AL East standings. However, it was a battle for pride in the rivalry series. On Wednesday night, the Orioles held a 9-5 lead over the Blue Jays in the top of the ninth inning. After scoring a run, Toronto loaded the bases. Randal Grichuk stepped to the plate and smashed a go-ahead grand slam off Miguel Castro to give the Blue Jays a 10-9 lead.

Grichuk proved why he earned that $52 million contract at the start of the season, at the expense of the Orioles, who have been victimized by the long ball throughout 2019.
