Red Sox slugger JD Martinez is staying hot with a two-run homer Wednesday night off of Colorado's German Marquez to extend the Sox lead 5-0.

For Martinez, this is his ninth big fly of the year, and he deposited the ball right into the Red Sox bullpen.
We all know Martinez can mash, as he blasted 43 home runs last season and drove in 130 runs.
Martinez is sporting a .316 batting average on the year with a slugging percentage of .523. And it's only getting sweeter.
