The MLB year-end awards and the General Managers Meetings have taken a backseat on Tuesday due to a bombshell report out of Houston. Former Astros pitcher Mike Fiers revealed to The Athletic that the team placed cameras in the outfield of Minute Maid Park to look at the catcher's signs during the 2017 season. And in what may be the one of the best troll jobs of the year, Jeopardy! took a shot at the 'Stros with a sign-stealing based question on Tuesday night's show.

"What is sign stealing, Alex?" Talk about convenient timing.

The two examples used on the Jeopardy! board included the 1951 New York Giants, who used a telescope, and the 2017 Boston Red Sox, who were accused of stealing signs via an Apple Watch.

It took less than 24 hours for the report about the Astros' espionage to wind up on a game show. Pretty impressive reaction time there from the Jeopardy! team

The Astros have a reputation around the league for their penchant of sign stealing, but the fact that this happened during their World Series-winning season makes it even more concerning. But that didn't stop Alex Trebek and Co. from having some fun at the organization's expense.
