After dropping two out of three to the New York Mets, the Washington Nationals are still falling victim to the long ball. Cincinnati Reds Jesse Winker reminded the Nats that the Reds are still in the playoff race, leading the game off with a solo shot on the very first pitch.

Winker didn't even give Erick Fedde a chance to get comfortable on the mound, as he put the Reds on the board with the very first pitch.
With the Reds vying to sneak into the postseason, Winker's home run was exactly what the team needed to get things going.
