VIDEO: Jets Getting Trolled by Dolphins After Sam Darnold's INT Proves NY Needs to Tear it Down
By Chris Pyo
The New York Jets are currently the laughingstock of the entire NFL. Sure, they somehow beat the Dallas Cowboys, but they just lost to the Miami Dolphins, who many thought had a chance to go 0-16 this season. Not only that, but the Jets were massively trolled by the Dolphins after Sam Darnold threw one of the worst interceptions we've ever seen. How did they do it? By blasting the Ghostbusters theme song shortly after.
Whoever's controlling the PA system at the Hard Rock Stadium deserves a raise. Meanwhile, the Jets seriously need to make a couple of changes to their organization.
It's as simple as this: just tear the entire franchise down. This is pretty much rock bottom for the Jets. Being absolutely humiliated by a Dolphins team that was considered to be one of the worst teams in modern era football is an embarrassment.
However, it seems like Jets players are continuing to stand behind head coach Adam Gase, which is going to immensely disappoint Jets fans.
Is it possible that Darnold's "ghost" incident will follow him for the rest of his career, similarly to how the Butt Fumble continues to be synonymous with Mark Sanchez? Unfortunately enough, it might seem so. The Dolphins certainly took advantage of it.
