VIDEO: Jimmy Butler Says He 'Felt Like Luka' After Huge Game vs the Sixers

Jimmy Butler has to be feeling good after a statement victory on Monday night, against his former team no less. The Heat demolished the 76ers, with Butler leading the charge with 38 points. While talking to the media after the game, Butler joked that he felt like Luka Doncic on the floor, offering high praise to the Mavericks star.

Butler's 38 came on an ultra-efficient 14-for-20 shooting from the field. He added seven rebounds and a pair of assists in the outing he likened to a Doncic-esque performance.
That ought to put a big grin on the face of the 20-year-old superstar, who is currently out with ankle injury. One of the game's biggest stars and fiercest competitors, Butler doesn't just hand out compliments to anyone -- especially someone who isn't on his team.
The only players in Mavs history with back-to-back games with at least 35 points and 10 rebounds: Dirk, Doncic, and now Porzingis.

Butler may just be hoping that he and Doncic end up on the same team for this year's All-Star game, that way he can share the floor with the budding star he seems to have so much respect for.
