VIDEO: Jimmy Garoppolo Looks Terrible Against Broncos and 49ers Fans Should Be Worried
By Mark Powell

What's wrong with Jimmy G? Fresh off throwing a ridiculous five straight interceptions during 49ers training camp, Garoppolo was picked by the Broncos in his first preseason action on Monday night.

Garoppolo bounced back slightly in a joint practice in the middle of the week, but 49ers hoping to be reassured their offense is in good hands aren't getting the start they so desired.
Surely, returning from such a serious injury as Garoppolo must do is no easy task, and the 49ers are in good hands should he need more time to recover with Nick Mullens still on the depth chart, but San Francisco ought to demand more out of their $137 million man.

The truth is, John Lynch and the Niners have too much invested in Garoppolo to simply punt on him due to a couple bad preseason throws.
In his first game action since suffering a torn ACL in Kansas City, Jimmy Garoppolo went 1/6 for 0 yards and an interception.

Rough outing.... but it doesn’t count.
Yet, this is exactly what these exhibition games are for. While the general public lauds preseason matchups as meaningless to the naked eye, for players like Jimmy G coming back from serious injury, they're incredibly valuable.
