VIDEO: Joc Pederson Rips Leadoff Home Run as Dodgers Claw Back From Early Deficit
By Daniel Marcillo
Joc Pederson picked up right where he left off on Sunday afternoon. He gave the Dodgers the lead in extra innings with a mammoth home run at Chase Field on Sunday night, and then led things off for L.A. with a solo shot on Monday against the Rockies.
Pederson cut the deficit to one with his solo bomb. The home run was the 15th he has hit while leading off an inning this season. It definitely taught Rockies starter Peter Lambert to bury the 0-2 curve, instead of leaving it down the middle.
