VIDEO: Joe West Gets in Way of Aaron Judge 9th Inning RBI With Stunning Lack of Athleticism

We know it goes against the rules of Major League Baseball, but most would agree that veteran umpire Joe West should serve all of his games behind home plate (despite his controversial reputation), due to his renowned immobility. Well, the 66-year-old was manning third base for Saturday's clash between the Yankees and Blue Jays. Never failing to shock us with his lack of elusiveness, West did practically nothing to navigate around Aaron Judge's game-typing RBI that was smoked down the third base line.

Oh no.

To be fair, there's no way West could have predicted Brandon Drury botching the play, but the ball was literally heading right for him. And he just didn't move.

West is also lucky that Drury didn't manage to steamroll him while fetching the ball. Even when he's not calling balls and strikes, he's making headlines. Would you except anything less from Cowboy Joe?
