VIDEO: Joe West Makes Tremendously Awful Strike Call to Screw Over Aaron Hicks

It's a tough return from the All-Star Break for Aaron Hicks, as he not only has to deal with the Toronto Blue Jays pitching staff, but some truly bizarre strike calls from veteran umpire Joe West.

Is West worse than Angel Hernandez? No, but that's a very low standard to set for MLB umpire. Hell, with robot umpires being tested out in the Atlantic League this season, maybe it's time to consider this idea more seriously.

Thankfully for Hicks, the Yankees are in prime position for another W despite the efforts of West.
