VIDEO: Joel Embiid Admits 76ers' 4th-Straight Loss is 'Taking a Toll' on Him
By Karl Rasmussen

The Philadelphia 76ers dismantled Giannis Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day, but it's been all downhill sledding for the team since then. Following a loss to James Harden and the Houston Rockets Friday night, the Sixers are now losers of four straight games. A frustrated Joel Embiid admitted that the string of defeats is having an impact on him.

"All I care about is winning," Embiid said. "It sucks. We've got to find the will, we've got to keep fighting."
Embiid and the Sixers were hoping to build momentum in 2020, but their woes continued into the new calendar year.
The latest L sees them drop to sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings, one-half game behind the Indiana Pacers.
Lot of talk at the practice facility today about accountability and so forth. Mostly good stuff.

Embiid dropped 20 points and corralled 12 rebounds on Friday, but the Sixers were outmatched by James Harden's 44-point triple-double. Now at 23-14, their next chance at a win comes on Monday at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Fortunately, there's a long gap between the Sixers and the seventh-placed Nets in the East, so Philly fans hardly have to worry about the team slipping any further down the standings.
