VIDEO: Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns Get Into Brawl During 76ers-Wolves and Everyone's Shook
By Scott Rogust
We've got ourselves a battle between two of the NBA's premier big men! During Wednesday night's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves, Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns were simply not getting along. Some words must have been said, because the two stars began throwing hands. After some haymakers couldn't land, the two giants grabbed each other before both fell to the floor, where they were greeted by their respective teammates and security.
As the two were smothered in a dogpile, Ben Simmons actually put Towns in a headlock!
Embiid and Towns were ejected from the game as a result of their scrap. Embiid, in classic fashion, celebrated by shadowboxing in front of the Wells Fargo Center crowd before retreating to the locker room.
While Embiid was feeling himself, he probably won't be celebrating once the NBA hands down a punishment in the coming days.
