VIDEO: Joel Embiid Appears to Have Gotten Engaged to Anne De Paula Based on Latest Instagram Story

Philadelphia Sixers big man Joel Embiid and girlfriend Anne De Paula seem to be enjoying themselves while on vacation in Beijing. Embiid was actively posting to his Instagram story while exploring China with De Paula, who may now quite possibly be his fiancee.

The 76ers star is shown on a chairlift with De Paula up over a bunch of trees and woods. In one particular clip on Embiid's Instagram story, his girlfriend leans over exposing a nice diamond ring on her finger.
Though the couple has not officially announced an engagement, but a ring like that makes a statement.

The couple have been active on social media in showing off their relationship before. De Paula gave Embiid an adorable golden doodle puppy after the 76ers lost Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, and now the pair have been exploring new heights (literally) in China.
As NBA fans try to figure out where max free agents are heading in free agency this offseason, Embiid is providing a different kind of excitement for the fans of the league. With the internet still trying to figure out if the couple is engaged, judging by that rock on De Paula's finger, it sure seems as if they are.
