Joey Gallo is keeping us honest. Up against the Tampa Bay Rays AND the shift, we might add, Gallo delivered a rarely-seen bunt and reached first base with ease.

Gallo is known for his pull power, which is why the Rays assumed (incorrectly) that he'd be swinging for the fences, per usual. But that was not the case...at least in the top of the second.

In his very next at-bat, Gallo flashed that very power the Rays and every team in baseball surely fear. This is a tape-measure shot that the Trop just barely contained.
