But his slugging is not all he's good for, and he's proving that this year. The Rangers center fielder put his defense on display on Friday night as he gunned out Cardinals' Kolten Wong at third base.

Look at that cannon from Gallo, as the ball lands perfectly in the lap of Asdrubal Cabrera at the hot corner, where he applied the tag for the out.

Gallo had to be completely precise with his heave, and he was as Cabrera simply let the ball fall into his glove while tagging Wong in what was a sensational play.
