VIDEO: John Smoltz Tosses Pretend Pitch to Young Fan at American Century Championship
By Scott Rogust

The American Century Championship concluded on Sunday, with former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current CBS commentator Tony Romo walking away the victor for the second year in a row. However, there was another moment that has gotten attention from the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. A video is circulating on social media, with a young boy yelling towards former MLB pitcher John Smoltz, asking him to throw him a pitch. And the eight-time All-Star happily obliged.

A perfect pitch from "Smoltzie" to create a lifetime memory for the young boy, and that's what it's all about.
And you know the kid crushed the pitch too, an absolute moonshot!
