VIDEO: Jonathan Holder Makes Absurd Behind-the-Back Stop on the Mound Look Completely Casual
By Karl Rasmussen
Jonathan Holder is back on the mound for the Yankees, but it's not his pitching performance that is making the rounds. No, the hurler made one of the best defensive highlights of the season, and he made it look incredibly easy in the process.
Okay, Holder. Try not to show off too much.
He somehow makes the play on a ridiculous behind-the-back stop, preventing the hard-hit ball from escaping into the outfield. Not only does he get the ball in his glove with precision, but he makes it look effortless and then casually tosses the rock to first base for the out.
This is truly a mesmerizing play.
