VIDEO: Jordan Luplow Rips Homer to Put Indians on Top
By Jerry Trotta
Thanks to a four-game winning streak, the Cleveland Indians sit just four games back of the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central and have a 2.5 game lead in the tightly-contested Wild Card race. The Tribe was looking to complete a sweep of the lowly Detroit Tigers on Thursday to help the cause, and outfielder Jordan Luplow contributed in a big way in the first inning, clubbing a two-run jack to put the Indians on top early.
Well, that won't bode well for Matt Boyd's trade stock.
The left-hander should know better than to leave 92 MPH heaters letter-high. He's just asking for the opposing batter to leave the park and Luplow, as expected, jumped all over that opportunity.
