VIDEO: Jose Altuve Says it's 'Too Early' to Answer Questions About MLB's Report on Astros Scandal
By Thomas Carannante

We already saw Houston Astros slugger Alex Bregman speak to the media for the first time since the team's sign-stealing scandal was uncovered and investigated, and it's now Jose Altuve's turn. After all, these two have both had their names come up in accusations related to wrongdoing -- but the former AL MVP said it's too early to comment on the MLB's full report on the scheme.

How is it too early to comment, especially since you and Bregman have already said this is all over after the league announced its findings? What are you still waiting for?

That logic doesn't really hold up, Jose.
Look, it's understandable that the whole situation is overwhelming for Houston's players considering how quickly this debacle grew to a fever pitch in recent weeks, but the key is that the Astros organization brought this upon themselves. Now is the time to answer questions rather than dodging them; to come clean at long last. Do they really want this cloud continuously hanging over their heads?
If you're not doing you're best to put this to rest then you're going to keep catching the heat. For a team leader like Altuve (to say nothing of Bregman), this is just a bad look.
