VIDEO: Jose Ramirez Give Indians Lead With 6th-Inning Blast
By Scott Rogust
The Cleveland Indians entered Thursday night with the goal of completing a four-game sweep over their AL Central rivals in the Detroit Tigers. Third baseman Jose Ramirez stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning with the game tied 3-3. Shortly afterwards, Ramirez hit a massive two-run home run to deep left field off Tigers pitcher (and trade deadline candidate) Matt Boyd to give Cleveland a 5-3 lead.
Is J-Ram back? Seems like it.
Ramirez had a rough go of things at the start of the regular season, but this July, he's come back with a vengeance.
