VIDEO: Josh Donaldson Brings the Rain With 2-Run Blast as Braves Take Early Lead
By Parker White
Folty, we need that umbrella, again! A day after the Atlanta Braves celebrated Josh "The Bringer of Rain" Donaldson's home run with an umbrella in the dugout, Atlanta's cleanup man parked a ball in the seats with a two-run shot to give his team an early 2-0 lead in the first against Toronto.
This guy's opposite field power is second to none. That's Donaldson's 34th home run of the season, and his 16th since the All-Star break.
The new celebration worked its magic yesterday, so they brought it back when Donaldson went bridge on Monday.
Let's hope Mike Foltynewicz can be the frontline starter Braves Country was hoping for, but at the very least he's the designated umbrella man for this team. When JD comes to the plate, be ready to break it out when he comes back from trotting around the bases.
