VIDEO: Josh Donaldson Gives Braves Early Lead Over Cardinals With RBI Single off Jack Flaherty

Game 1 of the NLDS couldn't have gone any worse for the Atlanta Braves, and unfortunately, they have to face Jack Flaherty in the second game of the series down 0-1. Well, we guess Josh Donaldson didn't get the memo that Flaherty has been the best pitcher in the game in the second half, because he captured an early lead for Atlanta with a two-out RBI single.

That's the second straight game that Donaldson has driven in a run in the first inning. For the Braves' sake, they have to hope he can provide some more offense later in the game.

But they'll need more than just Donaldson to defeat Flaherty.
