VIDEO: Josh Reddick Hammers Solo Shot off Luis Severino Slider to Add to Astros Lead Over Yankees
By Karl Rasmussen
Game 3 of the ALCS didn't get off to a hot start for the Yankees. The second batter of the game, Jose Altuve, parked a solo shot into the seats to give the Astros an early lead. Well, the Yanks deficit worsened in the next frame, as after working Josh Reddick into a two-strike count, Luis Severino hung a meatball of a slider right across the heart of the zone, and the 'Stros outfielder made him regret it.
The lefty absolutely pulverized the home run, which made its way to the second deck at Yankee Stadium. Talk about a no-doubt bomb.
The Yankees will have their work cut out for them as they try to mount a comeback in the Bronx following the pair of solo shots.
