VIDEO: Josh Rosen Throws Interception in Second Play as Dolphins QB
By Jerry Trotta
With the Baltimore Ravens absolutely pummeling the Miami Dolphins 52-10 at the start of the fourth quarter, 'Fins back-up quarterback Josh Rosen was brought into the game to relieve starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. Desperate to get off to a good start in South Beach after his trade from Arizona in the offseason, Rosen did anything but that. On his second snap in a Dolphins jersey, the UCLA product threw an ugly-looking interception after he was forced out of the pocket by a Ravens pass rush.
Come on, man.
That INT never happens if Rosen was quick to release the pigskin. Since he took his sweet time, the defensive back had a perfect opportunity to jump the rout and pick off the pass.
These kind of blunders always dissipate with more experience under center, but Rosen simply should have known better here.
