VIDEO: JuJu Smith-Schuster Describes Meeting a Steelers Superfan and Autographing His Head
By Jerry Trotta
Picture meeting your favorite player from your favorite team, but not having a pen or paper available for a potential autograph. Just thinking about the predicament is distressing, but how far would you be willing to go to ensure that you walked away his or her signature? Offering up your arm or hand as tribute is reasonable, but one particular Steelers adherent took fandom to an entire different level on Saturday: he let Pro Bowl wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster autograph his skull after Pittsburgh's training camp wrapped for the day. Here's the USC product describing the unusual encounter:
JuJu admired the fan's infatuation so much so that the budding superstar offered him free tickets to ANY game this season if he were to tattoo something related to Smith-Schuster on his head.
Bear with us here, but it wouldn't even be that preposterous of a look. After all, the buff already has the Steelers iconic logo inked on one side of his head. Why not complete the mural?
What other aspect of life could lead you to go through with something so extravagant and befuddling? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
The beauty of sports in a nutshell, folks.
