Let's take it back to this time last year when, ironically enough, the New England Patriots just wrapped up a victory over the Buffalo Bills. The NFL subsequently handed down a sum of $63,504 in fines to Julian Edelman for three separate unnecessary roughness violations. If you don't remember how disgraceful the wideout's antics were, well, we're not sure how that's possible. Edelman's vicious hit on Bills defensive back Jordan Poyer was undoubtedly the worst of the bunch.

If you look closely, you'll notice that Poyer's posture didn't even change leading into the hit, so Edelman couldn't even use the ever-prevalent "speed of the game" excuse.

So why bring this up now? Because Edelman admitted to faking an injury in an attempt to draw a flag when he was hit by Poyer on Saturday.

...on a play he was called for offensive pass interference and had to intention running a route in colliding with Poyer.

We're not tabbing Edelman a dirty player, but it was only right to bring up the upcoming one-year anniversary of his despicable showing that landed him separate fines in wake of this.

Classic Patriots move.
