Ohio State's football season pretty much depends on the status of superstar quarterback Justin Fields. He's been called generational, once in a lifetime, and a future NFL stud, but one title the team is dreading to see attached to his name ahead of their upcoming playoff matchup vs. Clemson is "injured." According to the QB, and much to the chagrin of the Buckeye faithful, he's still not at 100%.

Fields was visibly hobbled in the Buckeyes' Big Ten championship game against Wisconsin, but that didn't stop him from picking apart the Badger defense with 299 passing yards and three touchdowns after a shaky start in the first half.

While Wisconsin is no slouch of a football program, Dabo Swinney and Clemson are a completely different animal. JK Dobbins, Ohio State's workhorse running back who rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown in the Big Ten title game, will be leaned on heavily for the brunt of their rushing attack, and defensive coordinator Greg Mattinson should have Chase Young and Co. primed for the matchup. Fields, though, is the fuel that makes the engine go for Ohio State's offense.

If unbothered by the knee, Ohio State has a chance at championship glory with the start of the new year. If not - well Buckeye fans don't even want to dream about that outcome.
