VIDEO: Justin Fields Opens Scoring With 15-Yard Rushing TD to Give Ohio State Lead Over Nebraska

Justin Fields needs a BIG night against Nebraska to keep pace in the Heisman Trophy race after Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa showed out in their respective games on Saturday. Well, the Georgia transfer got off to a roaring start, turning a broken pass play into a 15-yard touchdown run to give No. 5 Ohio State a 7-0 lead less than five minutes into the first quarter.

For a hot second, it looked as though the Cornhuskers defense had a chance to stop Fields before he crossed the goal line. Then, however, the young gunslinger turned on the jets and there was no stopping him.

Nebraska better adapt to Fields' running prowess if they originally game-planned to stop him through the air. If not, it's going to be a long night in Lincoln for head coach Scott Frost.
