VIDEO: Kawhi Leonard Responds to Report About Clippers' Chemistry and Locker Room Issues
By Alex Coffman
The Los Angeles Clippers are the fourth-best team in the NBA and are somehow dealing with some internal drama. Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers to a win against the Miami Heat, recording the first triple-double of his career, and after the game, he was asked about the The Athletic's report that the locker room was unhappy with the "preferential treatment" allegedly given to himself and Paul George. Here's what he had to say:
Leonard quickly shot that speculation down, which should put this to rest in all honestly. The Clippers took down one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, and of all people Leonard sounded off on the alleged locker room drama.
But Leonard wasn't the only one. Clips guard Patrick Beverley denied those reports immediately on Twitter.
That's much more characteristic of Beverley than it is Leonard. But perhaps The Klaw speaking out on the issue and emphatically shutting it down will put the speculation to rest.
The Clippers are very much title contenders and the players aren't going to let nonsense like this get in their way.
