VIDEO: Kawhi Leonard Reveals Serge Ibaka Has Been Trolling Him and Danny Green to Motivate Them

In a must-win Game 3 for the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night, Kawhi Leonard did what he's been doing throughout the entire postseason: show out. The three-time All-Star dropped 36 points in a career-high 52 minutes on the floor to lead Toronto to an all-important W. And in a postgame interview on Sunday night, Kawhi revealed that the motivation for his brilliant showing has been coming from none other than Serge Ibaka. Check it out:

"He compared it to when the Thunder beat us [in 2016], when me and Danny [Green] were playing with the Spurs," said Leonard. "So, uh, we didn't really like that. We didn't really like that."

Of course, Ibaka is referring to the Western Conference Semifinals three years ago when Oklahoma City knocked out San Antonio in six games.

Truth be told, Kawhi still averaged just under 23 points per game that postseason, but the numbers suggest that Ibaka's banter is leading to the desired effect in every way.

We sincerely doubt that Serge's trolling has had a serious effect on Leonard's play but what better way to galvanize your teammates then reminding them of a gut-wrenching playoff loss back when you were rivals?

Well done, Ibaka. The city of Toronto (and Drake) owes you a debt of gratitude.
