VIDEO: Kenneth Murray Dominated Baylor During Powerful Big 12 Title Game Performance
By Ian Anderson

The Big 12 Championship Game was a back-and-forth battle between the Oklahoma Sooners and Baylor Bears. The Sooners pulled off the win in overtime, and arguably their best player was linebacker Kenneth Murray. Murray had a performance that professional scouts should take note of.
We need to be talking about Kenneth Murray being a top LB prospect. This kid is goooooood! pic.twitter.com/YWe95nHS5X

Watch as Murray reads the blocks and shoots through the gap before the pulling guard got there. NFL scouts and coaches should be salivating after watching a play like that. In a pivotal game against a solid Baylor offensive line nonetheless.
His physical frame is something to marvel at, but his deceptive speed is what makes him so good on the field. Murray was clocked at running a 4.60 40-yard dash, but he looks so much faster than that on Saturdays.
It’s no coincidence that Kenneth Murray is playing the best game of his career, and the OU defense is also playing its best game of the season. As he goes, the defense goes.

After recording a ridiculous 155 tackles and 12.5 tackles for loss last season, he followed it up with a strong season in 2019, one which has him poised to be among the first linebackers off the board in the draft.
Murray's performance in the Big 12 Championship not only lifted his squad against Baylor, but may also have helped his case in the upcoming draft.
