VIDEO: Kenyan Drake Explodes for 36 Yards on First Carry With Cardinals
By Karl Rasmussen
The Arizona Cardinals suddenly found themselves thin on running backs following injuries to David Johnson and Chase Edmonds. Well, the team solved that issue by trading for Kenyan Drake at the deadline, and that was a decision that instantly paid gratification for the Cards. On Drake's first snap as a member of the team, he darted up the middle for a 36-yard gain.
Drake got some good blocks from his offensive line, and against one of the best defenses in football he was able to break free for a huge gain.
The former Dolphin was not getting the opportunity he longed for in Miami, and it took just one snap in a new city for him to make an impact.
