VIDEO: Kevin Durant Leaves Shootaround Early With Trainer and is Listed as Game-Time Decision
By Max Scoli

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant will be a game-time decision for Monday's NBA Finals Game 5 against the Toronto Raptors. However, it wasn't a good sign that the former NBA MVP left the team's shootaround early with a trainer to head to the locker room right before the media was allowed in.

If KD isn't able to withstand the physical demands of a simple shootaround, how is he going to be able to compete on both ends of the floor while being matched up against the most complete two-way player in the game in Kawhi Leonard?
The answer: he won't
Unless, by some miracle, Durant's calf heals within the next eight hours, it doesn't look promising that he will be in uniform, or at least mobile enough to make a significant impact.

That being said, it could just be precautionary as the team doesn't want their star player to overwork himself prior to his return. We'll know more as we get closer to game time.
