VIDEO: Key Cowboys' First Down Wiped Out by Brutal Holding Call on Tyron Smith
By Adam Weinrib
The Dallas Cowboys have had a disastrous time converting on third downs in Sunday's battle in New England, traditionally a strength of this offensive unit. Towards the end of the third quarter, however, Dak Prescott finally hit Amari Cooper (who's been locked up all game long by Stephon Gilmore) on a game-changer...until it was called back for holding on Tyron Smith. Take a look at the play. Do you see anything here? Anything that's even questionable?
Thought not.
There's something in the water in New England, seemingly, as if Dallas needed to overcome yet another obstacle in this one. The consistent driving rain, the legendary Tom Brady, the Patriots' defense, and now the zebras themselves. Have the Pats ever done anything wrong in their lives, per those in charge of the escapades?
Note to Tyron Smith: be less huge next time. Duh! Why didn't you think of that one?
