VIDEO: Klay Thompson Has Very Casual Fight With Russell Westbrook During Rockets-Warriors Blowout

We know Russell Westbrook plays every minute of every game with intensity that's often unmatched. This was once again showcased on Thursday night in a lopsided win over the Warriors, as he got into it with injured Klay Thompson. Thompson, who looked as casual as ever, really fired up Brodie.

Even as the Rockets were up by nearly 40 points, Westbrook was livid. On the other hand, Thompson was clearly annoyed, but looked relaxed from start to finish.

Westbrook had 21 points and 10 assists in this one to help propel the Rockets to a big win over a depleted Golden State squad. Just before this game, the Warriors announced Thompson would not return for the 2020 season after tearing his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 Finals.

Thompson is probably not concerned with Westbrook's remarks, since the Warriors haven't lost a playoff series to a Westbrook-led team before. In fact, trash talking has never really done Westbrook any favors before.

You know, Russ, it's probably not the best idea to trash talk for now. Thompson has shown you what he can do in the playoffs, especially when he completely ruined your chances of an NBA finals appearance in 2016.

Now, all we can hope for is a playoff series between the Rockets and Warriors in 2021. With the Warriors out of the playoff race and Thompson sitting for the season, this feud needs to wait until next year.
