VIDEO: Kyle Lowry Describes the Ideal Punishment for Warriors Minority Owner Mark Stevens

Kyle Lowry is not shying away from discussing his opinion on Wednesday night's incident involving Warriors minority investor Mark Stevens. The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of Game 3 of the NBA Finals, when Lowry tumbled into the stands and was pushed by Stevens, who was stationed a few seats away.

Lowry, who was visibly upset on the court following the encounter, is rightfully outraged by Stevens' actions. During his Thursday press conference, he said that "a guy like [Stevens] shouldn't be a part of [the] league."

There is no way to reasonably defend what transpired last night, especially because the shove was not initiated by a random inebriated fan, but instead an active NBA investor.

The league announced that Stevens will be banned from NBA arenas for a full year and fined $500,000, but Lowry likely feels that this is not enough. While he wasn't harmed during the play, Stevens' actions were entirely out of line.

For a part-owner of an opposing team to aggressively lay his hands on a player during the game is an offense that merits removal from the ownership group.

If Stevens' actions were bad enough to warrant a one-year banishment from NBA games, there is no reason he should be allowed to keep his share in the Warriors ownership circle.
