VIDEO: Kyle Schwarber's Early 3-Run Blast Puts Cubs Ahead of Reds
By Michael Luciano
If you're going to miss with a pitch to Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber, do not leave it out over the heart of the plate, or else he's going to pound it into oblivion. Schwarber tied a record held by Hall of Famer Billy Williams for the most home runs in a season by a Cubs lefty since 1972, and in the process gave them a 3-0 lead over the Cincinnati Reds.
Schwarber's 37th home run was also one of his most destructive, as he's doing everything he can to keep the Cubs breathing in the playoff hunt.
