VIDEO: Kyle Schwarber Stays Blistering Hot With 3-Run Blast to Extend Cubs' Lead Over Rockies
By Parker White

The Colorado Rockies offense failed to take advantage of a bases-loaded situation in the bottom of the first inning, and in the top of the second, the Chicago Cubs' bats woke up and pounded starter Antonio Senzatela. The five-run inning was capped off by a monster three-run homer off the bat of Kyle Schwarber, who is tearing the cover off the ball as of late.

With his latest blast, Schwarber continues to stay hot at the dish, as he entered today's game hitting .300 (12-for-40) with three home runs in the month of June.
