The Brooklyn Nets were hosting their inner-city rivals on Friday night, but it didn't always feel like a home game for Kyrie Irving and Co. While at the free throw line, Irving was subject to a chorus of boos from Knicks fans in attendance at Barclays Center.

Knicks fans were not going to miss their chance to rip the point guard who spurned them in free agency, along with Kevin Durant, to join the Nets.
It took less than two minutes for Knicks fans to start casting the boo birds down upon Irving in his new home stadium, and this is the beginning of a long and tumultuous relationship between star player and opposing fan base.
Get your popcorn ready whenver these two teams square off, folks, because this will be entertaining for years to come.
